November is Critical Infrastructure Security Month (CISM) 2026. CISM 2026 will bring together industry, government and critical infrastructure operators for a month of engagement, collaboration and action, aimed to strengthen the security and resilience of Australia’s critical infrastructure.

Throughout November, the Critical Infrastructure Security Centre (CISC) will showcase a series of public town halls and TISN cross sector briefings. These will give timely insights into the current threat environment and help organisations build awareness of emerging, interconnected and evolving risks facing critical infrastructure.

CISM 2026 will focus on:

  • understanding emerging risks
  • strengthening compliance
  • enhancing preparedness
  • fostering collaboration.

By sharing knowledge, lessons learned and practical strategies, we will be better equipped to:

  • anticipate challenges
  • improve resilience
  • protect the critical services and assets that underpin Australia's economy, security and way of life.

These events are an opportunity to engage with policy and decision makers and experts on a range of issues for critical infrastructure owners, operators and governments in Australia.

Links to register for public town hall presentations can be found on Upcoming Town Halls and Awareness Sessions.
