Town Hall: Enhancements to the Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program Rules under the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018
Join us in this town hall on
25 June 2026, 12:00pm – 1:00pm AEST for an overview of the recently released Enhanced Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP) Rules 2026 under the
Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI Act).
Hosted by the Department of Home Affairs, Head of National Security, Hamish Hansford, the session will provide an overview of the Enhanced CIRMP Rules, which strengthen and uplift existing risk management requirements under the SOCI Act for key critical infrastructure asset classes from energy and water to transport and communications sectors across seven key hazard domains:
- All hazards
- Cyber and information security
- Credential compromise
- Lateral movement
- Personnel security
- Supply chain security
- Physical security and natural hazards.
